On March 11, 2024, the White House announced that U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) Secretary Marcia L. Fudge will be stepping down from her position at the end of the month, with her last day being March 22. She has served in the current administration for the last three years as a Cabinet secretary, leading HUD during a turbulent time in the housing industry.
