Current State Status for Remote Online Notarizations (RON)

States continue to pass laws that support conducting a Remote Online Notarization ("RON"), and in response to the pandemic situation, additional states have allowed RONs under Emergency Orders.

Our Remote Online Notarization Matrix clearly indicates which states have allowed RON either under existing law or emergency order.  For those operating under an emergency order, please see the Order Expiration table for when the order expires.

Information is constantly changing and DocMagic makes every effort to keep this information up to date.  This information is current as of October 9, 2024.
