On August 23, 2023, Fannie Mae published an update to the Legal Documents News and Update Archive announcing an update to the District of Columbia security instrument and the Florida security instrument instructions.
The District of Columbia security instrument (Form 3009) has been updated with revised language in Section 26 (a) Notice of Default (iv.) –(iv.). This a further update to provide clarification to a previous update to that section dated 06/2023. A revised footer date of 07/2021 (rev. 08/23) is also required.
