DocMagic is making a configuration update to automatically allow for the Loan Originator and Settlement Agent to be able to eSign documents.
Currently, this functionality needs to be configured by the customer to provide for eSigning by these persons. With this change, the default will now be to automatically provide for eSigning by the Loan Originator and Settlement Agent with options for customers to use other settings if they wish. Users may still request that these persons not be able to eSign documents or to use an alternative method for their signatures, including ink signature.
This update will be made September 15, 2022.
If you currently have any settings for this, that specify any other option, such as not allowing for eSign or using an alternative method for completing their signature, those settings will remain unaffected.
