Gavias Blockbuider Gavin T. Ales
Gavin T. Ales is Chief Compliance Officer for DocMagic, leading compliance and regulatory management for the company. A member of the company’s Risk Management Committee, he is responsible for oversight of DocMagic’s compliance products, services and audit tools, which are used by lenders and brokers in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Gavin brings significant experience in managing complex compliance and regulatory issues on both the lender and solution provider sides of the mortgage industry. He has been honored with multiple awards for his contributions to the industry. Most recently, Gavin was recognized by Progress in Lending as one of the industry’s 2022 Next Gen Leaders. Prior to DocMagic, Gavin spent seven years at Prospect Mortgage serving in multiple roles, including the position of deputy chief compliance officer.
Gavin holds a Juris Doctor from American University’s Washington College of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, both from the University of Mississippi.
